Honestly, I’m a little busy making reeds to write a whole bio and I have genuinely no interest in asking Chad GPT for one. So here are just a few things you need to know so I can get back to my team.

1.Yes- we are a team. We all get together at my place, we throw on ESPN The Ocho, maybe there’s snacks, and we each take part of a very cute assembly process to make your reeds. So not only are your reeds completely handmade, they are “hands made” - ooOooooo.

2. I genuinely LOVE making reeds. Hence - Reed-ILY (I love you. To reeds. Not you. I’m sure you’re great, I just don’t know you.) Anyway, it’s my love letter to reeds- just go with it.

3. Anyone that has ever told you that the oboe is hard because it requires you to have an aneurism every time you play from blowing your face off on a hard reed, was lying to you and you need to find them and settle whatever beef you clearly had once and for all. We have been lining the pockets of TMJ doctors for far TOO LONG and I am s i c k of it. You should NEVER have to fight your reeds! They should actually be quite easy! And if you’ve ever felt that way - please know that you are safe now.

4. Also, you should never have to wait forever and a day for reeds. If your reeds aren’t in the mail the next business day, then they are getting dropped off the day right after that. Guaranteed.

5. Band Directors - please reach out. It’s ok. I get it. Undergrad was a long time ago for me too and those two weeks in woodwind methods just - you know.
But anyway, I’m here for you. Just reach out.

6. Parents, welcome. I’m here for you too. For all of it, the good times and the bad. The emergencies and the victories. My inbox is open for any and all questions. Because I know you have a LOT.

7. Gonna get back to reeds now. Byeeeee!!!
